How the SSC typing test works

The SSC typing test (used in CHSL, CGL, and other SSC exams) is a 10-minute computer-based test measured in key depressions. In 10 minutes you must type around 2,000 key depressions to pass — roughly 30-35 WPM in Hindi and 35-40 WPM in English, depending on the post. Accuracy matters just as much: a negative marking rule applies to excess errors, so clean typing beats fast, sloppy typing.
